Thought of the Day

There was an interesting period in my life when I wanted to change but didn’t know who the new me wanted to be.

Equally, I didn’t know who I wanted the new me to be.

That’s what makes us lonely – not knowing who we are. And when we attach an idea of who we are to another person, a lover or a specific person we want to manifest a relationship with, we feel lonely without them.

We need them.

We falsely worry that our life would be empty without them.

  1. Dear Nina,
just wanted to say I like this post so much.
Although a bit different, something similar happened to me. I knew who I wanted to be but I felt that this package includes a specific person and when things wouldn’t work out between us I forgot to be who I wanted to be because if one part was missing I had no reason to thrive toward other things. However, I soon discovered that first I need to be who I want to be and when I was in that mood, things between us would start getting better and better. And also, it helped me to let go of him by thinking that if I am my ideal version, the person I would like to be the most and he doesn’t want me as part of his life, then he can not be perfect partner for me and that something better is waiting for me on the way. This helped me relax and trust the process.

    1. That’s the only work to put in – finding out who we want to be 😀 And if you focus on knowing it, you discover it soon! Like I did 😀 You know what you want and some things you won’t want anymore (or some people as well) but you must be comfortable with the person you are and in order to do that, you will have to decide who you want to be in some aspects and manifest it!
