Sometimes, it’s almost like we forget what we want and therefore forget to stay focused on it.
Think about it – if you stay focused on what you want for several minutes at a time but then refocus on something else and later forget what it is you wanted while allowing your negative thoughts to take over? If this happens, it means you didn’t put enough positive feeling into the idea of having what you want.
When you think about having what you want, how do you truly feel? Are you happy? Because if you are, even a little bit, you won’t be able to convince yourself of not being where you want to be even if you tried!
We have to remember what it is we want as much as we have to remember that it’s ours already. More often than not, it’s as if one forgets what they want and simply start thinking about what they don’t want.
This revelation came completely unexpectedly but it makes perfect sense. If the Universe knows what we want, why would we ever engage in what we don’t? The Universe knows but we have to put our faith in it in order to receive!
There are multiple desires we have which make us happy. I love to think about a world that treats all animals lovingly – this goal fills me with love. It feels like the most important goal in the world. This is why I also encourage nothing but positive thoughts and treatment of others. Fair enough, I haven’t always nurtured positive thoughts about others but I know how unhappy it made me; then, I realized that I and my obvious, well-deserved happiness are the only important factors whereas those I dislike are simply insignificant to me. Let them find their own company that likes them. We must earn our likeability by being a good person and feeling good about ourselves because no one likes the negative, the arrogant or the empty. Nothing impresses me less than the people who contribute nothing to the world, and the only thing one needs to contribute is their self-love. That’s right, self-love, because those who have it also love others and actually change other people’s lives.
A positive person can change someone’s life with just one encounter.
When you’re happy and positive, it’s easier to stay focused on your desires; when you’re negative, it’s easy to forget them altogether.
There was an interesting period in my life when I wanted to change but didn’t know who the new me wanted to be.
Equally, I didn’t know who I wanted the new me to be.
That’s what makes us lonely – not knowing who we are. And when we attach an idea of who we are to another person, a lover or a specific person we want to manifest a relationship with, we feel lonely without them.
We need them.
We falsely worry that our life would be empty without them.
Knowing your desire is yours but not seeing it in your current reality just yet can be frustrating. At this stage of manifestation, you might be wondering what you’re supposed to be doing or simply how to distract yourself when the thought of having your desire makes you so excited that it is all you can possibly think about.
At this stage, you might be tempted to start “doing” something to make your desire manifest faster but please refrain – in this exact moment, you should simply distract yourself by doing other things, especially enjoying the things you have time for now but won’t as much once you have manifested your desire.
Every change of circumstances changes a life. With every new chapter, we have a little less time for some aspects of the previous. There are things you could be enjoying right now that you won’t have as much time or energy for once your desire is manifested so focus on them instead. In turn, they will allow you to let go of your desire entirely only to see it appear in your current reality faster than you think!
This change of focus is more beneficial than you might currently realize.

I find that many struggle with staying relaxed about their desired manifestation. Staying relaxed leads to positive thinking and expectations yet worrying often takes over, leading to negative thoughts and fears.
Staying relaxed allows you to manifest miracles. Even with nothing in sight, you can attract miracles out of nowhere. Relaxation helps you believe and stay focused, and actually choose to focus on miracles instead of your fears. Staying relaxed is achieved by choosing to be happy and choosing to believe, no matter how impossible the concept of a belief being a choice sounds.
You might think your negative thoughts are blocking you but you can overcome them! Relaxation is achieved with decisiveness, belief, trust and letting go. It is also achieved by choosing to feel good at all times and deciding that what you want is yours which then allows you to trust and actually show that you want to be living your dream life by focusing on it instead of your fears. Choose to focus on what you want and imagine yourself living it – before you know it, you actually will.
What you focus on is what you keep manifesting. If you focus on your fears, you probably won’t manifest them most of the time but will manifest staying exactly where you are in life, not allowing yourself to move up the vibration ladder. If you focus on happiness, you choose to manifest your desires.

I’ve noticed another manifestation epidemic – one might fear their desire to be too much for them to handle, fearing their own inadequacy in the face of true happiness.
If you have ever felt this way, you probably questioned your ability to handle everything that comes with attracting your desire. The idea of your dreams finally coming true might have been perplexing if you ever worried about losing them soon after receiving, causing you to prevent yourself from enjoying a much happier idea of living them.
Worrying about losing your dreams soon after they come true stems from idealizing them and under-appreciating yourself. Even if just subconsciously, thinking of your dream as an emotional utopia you don’t deserve causes self-doubt.

If instead of your true heart’s desire you accept one deemed easier to manifest, it isn’t fair to anyone involved.
If you should accept any goal you consider easier to manifest than your true heart’s desire, this isn’t fair to you or anyone else.
What we want wants us back.
The Universe wants to give you what you want.
Your true heart’s desire wants you just as much as you want it.
When it comes to manifestation, you might be closer to your goal than you realize.
You might think you have no money only to discover that your bank account balance increased while you weren’t looking.
You might deem it impossible to imagine living the life you want only to find yourself indulging in related visualizations soon after and coming out a different, more positive person.
A simple change in your daily dynamics could help you realize how far you’ve come and what a positive person you genuinely are.
You might fear you will never attract the person you want to be with (back) into your life only to finally let go as a result, shift your awareness entirely and all of a sudden, manifest.
Fully ignoring your current reality and just thinking about your desired one is a technique in itself, if you ask me. If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you know that I fully advocate ignoring the current reality (or if you seem to be unable to, turning every negative in it into a positive, i.e. “It’s good that I’m single now because I get to do all the things I enjoy but will have less time for once in a relationship” etc.) and if you can just ignore everything in front of you, your visualizations of the ideal will trickle down to your current reality in order to turn it into your ideal one.
Many have wondered how exactly to ignore their current realities, and the answer is…
Ignoring the current reality comes easy when one makes a habit of practicing self-love. Being unable to ignore the current reality happens when that reality strongly bothers you but self-love leads to “fixing” yourself and your current reality by extension.

Crazy as it sounds, the easiest way to ignore the current reality is to fill it with fun activities. That way, you just happily live and have fun while imagining your ideal reality but not missing it. You don’t even think about it – you just are.
Another way is to love your ideal reality so much that it even transforms your current reality. Even if you never did it, it can be done. I’ve done it. When you love your ideal reality that much, you begin to act as if you’re living it in your current. You start to transfer moods, mindsets and external factors. You begin to look and dress the part.
Now that you know how it works, use these exercises to create your new life.

The need for manifestation can be strong enough to tempt one into focusing on the manifestation part alone…but what happens after?
When one chooses to focus on the manifestation part alone, they are guided by need instead of love. True love for one’s desired life allows for seeing oneself living that life instead of just experiencing a high from a desire manifested.
