Where Do Positive Feelings About Our Desires Come From?

Hello everyone! I hope you had wonderful holidays and I wanted to start off 2019 with this discussion of a very common Law of Attraction occurrence.

Frustration with a person or situation we desire to attract will prevent manifestation until the said frustration is diminished. Until removed, one’s personal feelings of frustration only attract more frustration, be it from real events or one’s impression of what might be happening behind the scenes.

I believe we’ve all experienced this in the past, and that’s okay. It happens. People are different and acceptance is the start of love and teamwork but let me explain how this works.

Let’s say you’re upset with the person you want to attract into your life or attract a better relationship with. Your focus on why they upset you is preventing further manifestation of anything except for more upset – in this case, you must forgive the reasons why they have upset you in the past and the present, be that actual forgiveness or simply deciding to put these reasons behind you. You might have been aware of this already.

You might be questioning whether this person is the right choice for your life partner after all, as you can only see how much they upset you while struggling to remember the good times you had together – this is where frustration prevents you from seeing the big picture and the person’s true self which comes from everything they do for you and others, not everything they don’t.

Here’s the trick thought – we cannot be frustrated with another person, even one we dislike, it we aren’t already frustrated with ourselves and projecting those upsetting feelings on our lives and other people. It all comes from us. It all starts with us.

Admitting to ourselves that we become upset with others because we are already dissatisfied as a result of something within ourselves is not always easy. When we are fully happy with who we are, we don’t care about anyone’s negative character or mood but simply ignore them. Yes, it’s true – when we’re truly happy and now allowing anyone or anything to upset us, we just ignore those who dwell, hate and attempt to divide.

Some want to skip the part involving the creation of happiness and self-work. We often talk about creating positive feelings about a person or a circumstance we wish to attract, especially when we are in need of them. Sometimes, we want to be with someone who has upset us in the past. We might want to change our lives but don’t feel we deserve as much happiness and wealth we would love to manifest…so we tell ourselves that maybe we don’t need it after all.

Do you know why this happens? It’s because…

Waiting for the relationship one wants to manifest in order to be happy seems much easier than creating self-love and happiness first. Relationships seem like an easy fix for happiness which is why many don’t bother being happy on their own.

This is exactly why feeling good about yourself equals feeling good about those you have feelings for which equals manifesting great relationships with them as a result. And reaching this point isn’t as difficult as it sounds but would be entirely worth it even if it were.

Because…

Feeling frustrated leads to a distortion of our true desires. It puts us in a bad mood and, more importantly, taints our impression of what our desires truly are. If we want to manifest our desire but are frustrated with it at the same time, annoyance with a romantic interest being prime example, our impression of this person is not fully positive which makes it impossible to manifest entirely positive experiences with them as a result.Frustration creates negative expectations which reflect what we don’t want, not what we do.

Most importantly, you know that frustration with another person only comes from already fully formed frustration with yourself.

Even when you state your desire to “feel better,” engaging in frustration instead of strictly focusing on what is already great about yourself and your life continues to distort either your manifestation or the impression you have of your desire. As soon as you decide that you are amazing, lovable, unique and irreplaceable, you will only be interested in receiving love, success, positivity and adoration.

Facing Negative Past to Manifest a Positive Present

When we want to manifest something we have had an unpleasant experience with in the past, we tend to avoid any visualization of the said manifestation or affirming that it’s a done deal this time because those negative thoughts divert us whenever they come in. 

Instead, we need to feel like  a new person – the one who has what we want to have. We must think of ourselves not only of having this but of being the person who has it. and feel and act accordingly. 

Whenever I have a goal and think of myself as being the person living it, I must repeat this to myself even if I’ve had a negative experience with it in the past. However, this is the trick – any negative experience from the past is a lesson for the present on the right ways to think in order to manifest what you desire instead of what you fear. 

Anything can be reversed with the Law of Attraction. What happened to you is not final – nothing is!

Sometimes, this is the only reminder we need. Anything can be reversed and that is the biggest truth of the Law of Attraction. 

In order to believe it truly will be better this time, we must visualize it being better even once.

Facing past upset and the reasons why it happened is very therapeutic – it makes you stronger. However, we must visualize things going well this time even once in order to believe it. This visualization can come as a result of you deciding that things will go well or your intention to see it going well in order to believe it but either way, it is a necessary part of the process.

We have to be able to see it even once, for as little as two seconds, in order to believe it. And if we’re not, we can enable ourselves to do it with decisiveness and self-belief. We can see ourselves having whatever we want right after we affirm it to ourselves.

My blog editor says “remove block” when I select inserting a gallery instead of writing text, and it couldn’t be more appropriate. Remove block is exactly the command we need to implement when thinking that the unpleasant past will repeat itself.

Did You Know That Negativity Makes Us Forget All About Our Desires?

Sometimes, it’s almost like we forget what we want and therefore forget to stay focused on it.

Think about it – if you stay focused on what you want for several minutes at a time but then refocus on something else and later forget what it is you wanted while allowing your negative thoughts to take over? If this happens, it means you didn’t put enough positive feeling into the idea of having what you want.

When you think about having what you want, how do you truly feel? Are you happy? Because if you are, even a little bit, you won’t be able to convince yourself of not being where you want to be even if you tried!

We have to remember what it is we want as much as we have to remember that it’s ours already. More often than not, it’s as if one forgets what they want and simply start thinking about what they don’t want.

This revelation came completely unexpectedly but it makes perfect sense. If the Universe knows what we want, why would we ever engage in what we don’t? The Universe knows but we have to put our faith in it in order to receive!

There are multiple desires we have which make us happy. I love to think about a world that treats all animals lovingly – this goal fills me with love. It feels like the most important goal in the world. This is why I also encourage nothing but positive thoughts and treatment of others. Fair enough, I haven’t always nurtured positive thoughts about others but I know how unhappy it made me; then, I realized that I and my obvious, well-deserved happiness are the only important factors whereas those I dislike are simply insignificant to me. Let them find their own company that likes them. We must earn our likeability by being a good person and feeling good about ourselves because no one likes the negative, the arrogant or the empty. Nothing impresses me less than the people who contribute nothing to the world, and the only thing one needs to contribute is their self-love. That’s right, self-love, because those who have it also love others and actually change other people’s lives.

A positive person can change someone’s life with just one encounter.

When you’re happy and positive, it’s easier to stay focused on your desires; when you’re negative, it’s easy to forget them altogether.

My Journal – An Insight into Negative Thoughts and Physical Discomfort

2:14 p.m.

I went out for a friend’s birthday last night. It was great until about 3:30 a.m. when the quality of music dropped. I became desperate to go home and this morning, I woke up with a headache. I feel like I must have attracted it due to complaining, even just to myself; on the other hand, it could have been due to slight exhaustion from staying up for twenty four hours, swimming for four in the morning and then dancing for another four in the middle of the night. Either way, I need a painkiller, as my second coffee alone isn’t helping right now.

When you live seeking out your personal joys, you also begin to desire a healthy amount of quiet, recovery days, which feel even better than you can imagine.

Living with the purpose of enjoying ourselves and also enjoying some quiet time prevents you from having enough energy to ever engage in overthinking or even negative thoughts, benefiting your well being and directing your focus to seeking out even more joys in the days to come. And today, all I wanted was some quiet time. I wanted to not think about anything besides some work, some food and some TV. I needed to unwind.

5:35 p.m.

As it tends to happen, physical pain can cause negative thoughts just like any other physical sensation does. I felt so bad physically that I started to have odd thoughts; however, I soon realized that it wasn’t any serious fear acting as a cause of these thoughts. I was just hungry and a body running on empty affects one’s mind accordingly.

This has happened before and I would always divert from negative thoughts…if I wanted to leave the situation badly enough. When I was hospitalized for appendicitis surgery, I summoned the motivation to start feeling better and be released. When I hated my second high school (our of three, in three different countries), I summoned all the motivation I need to manifest moving away with my family once again. But I didn’t want to leave my bed today which made it difficult to manifest a change in circumstances. So I just decided to manifest a headache away and magically found a painkiller even though I was convinced there were none left in the house. But the Universe always provides. I still have no idea where it came from.

7 p.m.

After the painkiller kicked in, I could feel my body relaxing and was sure my confusing thoughts were about to disappear. I wanted to sleep but also work at the same time. Then, one of my best friends called me which made me very happy. I needed something wonderful to do and I had found it. I knew that if I distracted myself, my negative thoughts would pass, even though they made no sense to me at all. I believed my brain was just tired.

And then…

Negative thoughts passed as soon as I took something meaningful from them. Suddenly, I got to know certain answers and believe it was the Universe’s way of helping me relax even more. The Universe had sent me a message that said, “Don’t even react. None of our negative thoughts ever make sense!” I knew it but then remembered that over the past week, I had been working on a new theory of removing them, all for the purpose of a new book I’ve been working on. Now, I was given a chance to test my own theory by observing the thoughts that came from physical discomfort, and I have gained new insight into dealing with them. I have been asked about this by several readers and clients, and have always looked for new ways of removing those thoughts that bother so many because it is my goal to make lives easier.

Let’s face it – most of our negative thoughts are self-imposed and not at all connected to the people or situations we assign them to. If you simply let them pass, no matter how weird and uncomfortable they feel, or remind yourself they are meaningless and irrelevant, you will come to a point where they feel so ridiculous that you won’t even understand where they came from in the first place.

Law of Attraction advice isn’t just about getting what you want – it is also about relaxing yourself so that you could imagine having what you want which is the necessary first step. Much of the Law of Attraction advice can be explained in elaborate stages but it always comes down to the simplest concepts – feel the positive, ignore the negative, believe in what you want before you see the proof of it and don’t be afraid. Maybe it is the reminder of those concepts that holds the biggest Law of Attraction lessons, as the point is to remind yourself of what you already learned in order to create new, positive habits.

9:21 p.m.

Negative thoughts seem even more distant now that I’ve just let them flow and had said to myself they were entirely self-imposed. I can look at their triggers and say, no. I have witnessed enough paranoia to make me realize that we don’t put ourselves into another person’s intentions by thinking negative thoughts about them but do so by thinking positive. We choose to engage in negative thoughts and perceptions about certain situations because of what we think, not because of the nature of that situation. We must stop perceiving our negative thoughts as some kind of threat – they’re simply here to tell us what not to think.

The less we think about how to remove any negative thoughts and the more we ignore them, the sooner they will go away. I could explain it in as many ways as you can imagine but it all comes down to this same idea. You might wonder how exactly you should distract yourself and the answer is, either by ignoring or persistence. Do something you enjoy until you forget about those thoughts you’ve been having, ask yourself why you have them for the purpose of realizing they only come from you or simply choose to think about something else. Just don’t think about “what they mean” or you’ll end up assigning meaning to them, scaring yourself in the process.

In short, if I only have negative thoughts when I’m tired, hungry and suffering a headache, they are completely self-imposed, not to mention circumstantial. Observe your own negative thoughts – do you recognize the same patterns?

When it Comes to Love and Commitment, Are You Giving What You Want to Receive?

You might be familiar with this situation – you want to attract a relationship with a specific person only to find yourself diving into negative thoughts instead of planning the relationship you say you want to have.

First of all, engaging in negative thoughts is always a choice – they can come unexpectedly but we either choose to engage in love or fear. Many of us have engaged in both at different times in our lives. At any moment, we have the power to change our thoughts to positive so when you notice yourself in an upsetting thought process, choose belief instead!

Choosing belief goes a long way in manifesting love because by engaging in the thoughts of having what you want already, you are consciously choosing to see the best in the person you love and emit the loving energy you wish to receive. The loving visualizations and energy you emit are your own personal communication of what you wish to receive.

Thought of the Day

If instead of your true heart’s desire you accept one deemed easier to manifest, it isn’t fair to anyone involved.

If you should accept any goal you consider easier to manifest than your true heart’s desire, this isn’t fair to you or anyone else.

What we want wants us back.

The Universe wants to give you what you want.

Your true heart’s desire wants you just as much as you want it.

Thought of the Day

When it comes to manifestation, you might be closer to your goal than you realize.

You might think you have no money only to discover that your bank account balance increased while you weren’t looking.

You might deem it impossible to imagine living the life you want only to find yourself indulging in related visualizations soon after and coming out a different, more positive person.

A simple change in your daily dynamics could help you realize how far you’ve come and what a positive person you genuinely are.

You might fear you will never attract the person you want to be with (back) into your life only to finally let go as a result, shift your awareness entirely and all of a sudden, manifest.

Are You Ashamed of Your Past/Present?

If you are, it might be the reason you keep getting stuck, manifesting the same situations over and over again, without knowing how to break free and manifest what you want for a change.

Is shame the manifesting block you have been trying to pinpoint and overcome? If so, you are now on your way out of the darkness.

Being ashamed of something you’ve done or experienced is just another version of feeling as if you are not good enough; it is the fear of inadequacy that makes you doubt your own worth, power or ability to make life happen. That sense of shame can be strong enough to effortlessly keep you focused on your perceived mistakes instead of enjoying the visualizations of the life you want, making you feel like you don’t deserve that life because of the embarrassment endured.
