Over the past months, I have been hearing about social media causing annoyance in relationships and their manifestations; at the same time, many are aware of its lack of meaning and relevance while others have been irritated by it in the past only to come to realize its lack of actual power in the present.
Whenever I am about to meet my closest childhood friend, I end up running late. Every time and only with her. I usually pride myself on punctuality but no matter what, I always end up arriving late to meet her, specifically and without fail.
However, every time I start getting ready to see her, something comes up for her last minute but it always ends up magically resolved just as I am about to arrive. Every time I’m late, it turns out to have actually worked out better for her that way.
This is the essence of our dynamics and we are both aware of it. We find it very interesting and have gotten used to meeting this way, thus continuing to attract the same outcome every time. One could say we have a positive effect on each other, as one’s tardiness works out better with the other’s short-term, last-minute obligations.
How would you analyze that according to the Law of Attraction? Let us know in the comments!
The other night, I was in a deep discussion with a friend as we were driving around the city at 2 a.m.. Sharing experiences of recent and not-so-recent encounters with men, her accurate grasp of relationships absolutely amazed me.
Being specific has its ups and downs. Then again, anything does.
In life, my actions always reflected a core belief of “I want this so I am going to have it – nothing else, nothing less!” which led me to certain manifestations that looked nothing like I had imagined.
When you transform the core of your personality to positive, to being a positive individual, your periods of succumbing to annoyance naturally last briefly.
I went out with my elementary school friends on Saturday night. Unlike our class reunion two weekends ago, this was a smaller group of just a few people who have had several nights out together since December. Those nights started spontaneously – two of us found ourselves in the workplace of the third when the fourth suddenly showed up. After that, the four of us planned a night out, two planned the reunion and two days ago, we had a fun night out enjoying drinks and live music. I loved it when we started shooting pool later on, though I believe I will never be any good at it.
The four of us have known each other for twenty five years on average. I turned thirty two in January, two others followed last week and the youngest group member will next month. Having known each other for so long and being the exact same age, there is great understanding among us.
It’s amazing to see the extent to which my oldest friends have grown up to be fascinating individuals, simply by being themselves. One of them became an online sensation last year after he declined to charge a book blogger client for a cab ride – instead of the money, he asked for recommendations on some new reads. I wanted to give you guys an update on my life. I want to document what I do, especially now that I am looking forward to new challenges, opportunities and events as I have just introduced a great new change to my life.
I worked as an independent associate with one university but decided I had accomplished everything I desired and chose to leave this collaboration behind. I had created a program of counselling and seminars for this university unique to the entire country; this type of work was meaningful, challenging and an irreplaceable opportunity. I wanted to leave this job sooner but then realized I hadn’t accomplished everything just yet; this opportunity contributed to my personal satisfaction as well as my professional.
Ever since making the decision to leave, I have been dedicating all my time to writing. I plan on finishing my second book very soon and with that, the year 2016 might be the year I self-published two books. How cool is that!? It definitely is to me.
That was me at age thirty one. I turn thirty two on January 5th.
I have lived about five different lives. Different countries, people and work offered me everything I wanted and I wanted all those lives. I had five lives and a million dreams. Now, especially with my work concluding when I wanted it to, I am ready to move countries once again. Having been close to my family for two or three years was great after being away from them for six years before that and it offered different dynamics which I was craving at the time. I continued to travel and collaborate with various people while spending more time close to my family and now, I need a change once again. I want that change and I look forward to it.
We often discuss love and relationships in this community so let’s talk about that now.
Everyone in this community already chose their perfect person – I might not currently have a great love to manifest but I am open to it! That’s a good start, don’t you think? I look forward to the next chapter. I must admit that I hadn’t missed being in a relationship – many members of this community are or have manifested being in one but I wasn’t ready for the one just yet, if you want to put it that way. And I knew it. There were however options yet had I felt the need for them, they would have eluded me. I have a great family and friends to share love and happiness with. I have met some new, amazing people and all of this blended into an attitude that ensured meeting quality men throughout this time.
This year however, I manifested some great friendships. I had also reaffirmed some existing friendships which showed me whom I wanted to stay close to. I want to keep my friends but some are just closer than others and that’s perfectly fine. Others we stay close with no matter how much time passed. I love these nuances of relationships and life, as they provide fascinating change and dynamics. We all share fun times with each other which is enough to remain appreciative of one another.
Now, I look forward to sharing the news of my new life! Just as importantly, I feel as if it’s 2017 and I am exactly where I wanted to be.
I want to hear about your favorite manifestation of 2016! Please share.
LOVE you all! 😀
When something in life upsets me, no matter how briefly, I am usually grateful for having someone supportive show up at the exact moment I have calmed myself down and reaffirm my belief that the situation will be resolved.
How does a situation such as this one usually go in your life?
The person to tell you that everything will be alright will either show up as soon as you have calmed yourself down or come sooner than that, bringing their calming and loving energy to help you.
In truth, we attract these situations and individuals, just like everything else. We either invite even more upsetting or loving and calming energy with our vibration and needs. If the same person keeps coming around to help, we are grateful for them. We are also grateful for those who offer to help.
We are particularly grateful for the moments in which worry fades away even when we fear the opposite happening.
Today, I attracted help from someone after I have decided that the situation in question was not a big deal after all. In fact, I expected to be much more irritated than I was. The annoyance that ran deep lasted only minutes which shows that consistent practice can turn anyone into a positive thinker.
It also shows that our thoughts don’t have to be perfect – they can be human. Like us.
When faced with upsetting moments, don’t beat yourself up. It happens. Don’t worry about how you might have attracted this circumstance but only look ahead with faith and trust instead.
Some of the recent events around me as well as many comments and emails prompted me to address the following:
Are your friends, family and other people close to you genuinely happy for your success in life, your positive personality and all the love, magic and gratitude you are attracting into your life?
Let’s be clear on something – they should be!
No matter what goes on in your life, you are a great friend if you’re unconditionally happy for your own friends and their success. Those who support your goals and desires are good friends and those who don’t are only expressing their limiting beliefs, making themselves less-than-exceptional friends in the process.
If someone’s constant negativity hurts your happiness and life, you can remove yourself from that person and seek out positive company instead. There is no reason not to.
Or, if this is a relationship you want to repair, you can do so as well. It’s up to you but either way, here’s what to do. Continue reading “Are You Surrounded with True Friends?”
