Manifestation Epidemic – Wanting to “Do” When You Should Be Letting Go

Knowing your desire is yours but not seeing it in your current reality just yet can be frustrating. At this stage of manifestation, you might be wondering what you’re supposed to be doing or simply how to distract yourself when the thought of having your desire makes you so excited that it is all you can possibly think about.

At this stage, you might be tempted to start “doing” something to make your desire manifest faster but please refrain – in this exact moment, you should simply distract yourself by doing other things, especially enjoying the things you have time for now but won’t as much once you have manifested your desire.

Every change of circumstances changes a life. With every new chapter, we have a little less time for some aspects of the previous. There are things you could be enjoying right now that you won’t have as much time or energy for once your desire is manifested so focus on them instead. In turn, they will allow you to let go of your desire entirely only to see it appear in your current reality faster than you think!

This change of focus is more beneficial than you might currently realize.

The need for manifestation can be strong enough to tempt one into focusing on the manifestation part alone…but what happens after?

When one chooses to focus on the manifestation part alone, they are guided by need instead of love. True love for one’s desired life allows for seeing oneself living that life instead of just experiencing a high from a desire manifested.

When you think about receiving or living your desired reality, are you honest with yourself? Do you want to just receive your desired reality or do you want to live it every day? Do you see the difference?

Manifestation Epidemic – Trying to Manifest while Attempting to Fix the Current Reality

If the Law of Attraction confuses you at times, you probably find yourself bouncing from the thoughts of living your desire to the thoughts of not having it in your current reality just yet. This is one of the most common manifestation and LoA teaching problems; it is where attachment and the refusal to let go rule one’s awareness.

In short,

If you can’t take the focus off your current reality, your desired one isn’t making you happy enough…yet. You must make the visualizations and feelings of having your desire more vivid, creative and reflecting what you want instead of what you don’t or what you fear having to settle for.

If you pay equal attention to your positive and negative thoughts, you are stuck between the realities, so to speak. However, focusing on your desired reality is always the answer. The more you nurture positive feelings about your desired reality, the more your current one will fade.

Can you imagine what your life would look like if your entire visualization focus rested on having and living your desire already? It would be everything you see and it would lead to manifestation. You wouldn’t think twice about still living your current reality and you would start to enjoy it while knowing that your desired reality is coming.

When manifesting anything you can imagine, I consider it a done deal. All my happiness goes into the thoughts of living my desire which takes the focus off my current reality, allowing me to live it and stop paying attention to the insignificant details in it. As I enjoy these visualizations, my awareness soaks up the feeling of having what I want. With my desire in my life, I imagine it to be inspiring, positively challenging and full of enjoyment.

When you make your desired reality that happy, the current becomes something you don’t even think about. You don’t mind it and might start to enjoy it as a result. In addition, this approach is pure self love due to the giving of love to yourself and having your desire.

If you can’t take the focus off your current reality, you will as soon as you make your desired one more engaging in your mind. Then, you will also let go to manifest.

At the same time, impatience and a lack of self love prevent many from entirely letting go of the current reality and putting their faith into the desired; instead, many look for short-term solutions and “steps” to manifest their desire slowly, wanting to feel happy now without having to take the time to locate their limiting beliefs and personal manifesting blocks.

Some refuse to let go due to the fear of actually manifesting their desire, feeling undeserving of that manifestation and fearing its eventual loss instead of praising its gain and presence. If this is you, repeating the affirmation “I am good enough” whenever you feel the need is going to work for you.

Positive thinking is a choice.

Positive thinking is an active way of living life.

To many, having their negative thoughts take over any attempt at positive thinking is a given. They are used to thinking negatively, fearing or feelings helpless yet they deserve to be happy.

A friend told me they find it so much easier to drown in negative thoughts because that is what they’re used to. This person also told me they don’t seek out a positive mindset or advice on it because it’s just easier to stay put, not even ask and keep things as they are. Even if it doesn’t feel good, at least it’s comfortable.

Positive thinking is natural – those who refuse it feel poorly because they go against what is organic. And that is happiness.

Thinking positive thoughts is active. It is a choice. This means making a choice of redirecting your feelings and lifting up your mood when the bad one strikes. It means relying on yourself and your active belief that things are going to work out to match your hear’s desires.

All it takes is a little bit of steady practice. Continuously thinking in a positive way can become one’s entire awareness, especially because it produces positive results.

Positive thinking also means being patient. Positive thinking increases patience by removing the need for the manifestation. Positive thinking allows one to see their desired manifestation in their mind and with all those factors combined, manifest fast.

One will manifest as fast as they can stay focused on feeling great!

If you choose to think positive, you will eventually reach the point where positive thinking is effortless. The sooner you relax, trust yourself and stop rushing, the sooner you will get there.

I know that thinking positive without effort is your goal…and you can reach it. We adopt novelty into our subconscious minds through the conscious so choosing to think positive will eventually become a habit. This is why I suggest affirmations, especially when in doubt. Whenever you feel lost, affirmations can help you. Be persistent with them and your struggles will end.

Desire to feel great and you will get there!

Believe in yourself. If you do, you will get there.

Impatience equals resistance which leads to not manifesting.

Patience leads to instant manifestation because it doesn’t invite resistance or a lack of satisfaction with one’s current reality. With that, patience also leads to letting go.

If you are patient and grateful for your life as it is, you will be alright living without your desire which will allow you to let go and manifest.

If you have the patience to allow your desire to manifest, you love it and truly want to live it.

If you are impatiently rushing your desire into your existence, it is possible you (only) want it to validate yourself, raise your self-confidence, want to use it to increase your happiness, add value to your life or prove something to the rest of the world.

If you are impatiently waiting to receive your desire, you are unhappy in your current reality. However, you are directly defying Law of Attraction, as you must be happy in your current reality for your desire to appear. You might be impatient for a job, money or a relationship but that only creates more impatience.

When you know you are impatient and know you are trying to rush your desire, that is your awareness! You don’t feel that you have your desire – you are trying to rush it. 

When you know you have your desire, you stop worrying about when it might appear.

When you enjoy patience, confidence and happiness, you clear your energy to receive.

Don’t be embarrassed about it – we’ve all done it. Just recognize it and change your energy into something better, clearing the way for manifestation.

My Crucial Manifesting Factor

Yesterday, I discussed one’s resolve being a crucial factor in the process of attracting one’s dream life. This is certainly true in my case.

One of my closest friends once said to me, “If you don’t have a burning desire to do something or be with someone, it seems to encounter problems. You’re bored after only being amused with it short-term. You sometimes even want a reason to leave.”

I completely agree.

It all rests in my resolve to live my desire. This resolve is always boosted by love and gratitude for the said desire.

On rare occasions, my resolve had come as a result of being sick of questioning and experiencing some negative thoughts. I would observe and entertain these negative thoughts, sometimes even using them to reevaluate my desire. I would say,

“If my desire is strong enough, these questions can’t hurt it but can even help.”

You receive what you ask for and this type of energy, one that offers no resistance even to the thoughts of resistance, can only strengthen one’s resolve.

Do you desire your desire strongly, with all your heart?

Has your resolve been damaged by your own negative thoughts, a lack of faith in your manifesting abilities and the refusal to believe? If this happened to you, don’t worry, as everything can be fixed once your point of view has changed. As soon as you redirect your attention and your feelings to positive, to the ideas you love instead of those you fear, so will your reality.

Listen to what your heart says about your desires – it’ll strengthen your resolve. Any feeling of happiness around your desire comes from your heart. The human heart produces strong energy. Focus on the happiness (the idea of) your desire gives you, love it and even more will be produced. Look back on your life – you gained everything you have today because you felt positively about it. Everything that left your life did so once you started feeling negatively about it in one way or another.

Does your resolve respond to your self-respect? If you feel that being with another would mean disrespecting yourself, your resolve may falter. The person you had your eye on might turn out to be the opposite of what you thought before you manifested them; they might be weak or unremarkable, all showing through your time together. Their best might never be enough for you. If you feel that settling for a specific job would mean you’ve said yes to the second best, this may produce a manifesting block; however, if you feel this way, you are unsure of the potential for your happiness.

My resolve must encompass:

  • True love for my desire. Is my desire truly the place I want to wake up every morning?
  • Patience around the concepts of time and possible negative thoughts. When patience is present, things happen rapidly. The idea of having one’s desire in their life is instantly (or, soon) believable. Ultimately, we all know – don’t we feel silly when we attach impatience or some negative meaning to our desires due to a lack of signs or a borderline paranoid idea? We know that nothing has anything to do with our desires except for the desires in question.
  • Gratitude for having my desire in my life already. If one isn’t automatically experiencing the feelings of gratitude, they aren’t directing enough positive feeling towards living their desire. However, any frustration, negativity or fear around one’s desire can be removed.
  • The ability to picture living my desire. If this is the life I want, at least for a little while, I will manifest it.
  • True excitement for my desire. If I enjoy almost childlike excitement while thinking of my desire, I will experience rapid manifestation. However, this is not a prerequisite – any kind of happiness and positive feelings are. Looking back, I believe I haven’t experienced this type of excitement over every single desire but for some, it was definitely present. I enjoy it greatly and love to feel this way.
